CUSCO MACHUPICCHU Adventure II

This is a budget adventure program that includes the Inca Trail, the rafting in the Urubamba river, the Sacred Valley tour and the City Tour. It also includes bookings in tourist class accommodations.
The Budget package is the best value for money, because includes the good service of porters who will carry food and camping equipment, but does not include extra porters for your personal items.

itinerary

Day 1 Cusco 

Arrival at Cusco airport and transfer to a tourist class Hotel (accommodations based on double occupancy). In the afternoon : Cusco City Tour From 2 PM to 6.30pm .This tour includes the Qoricancha (temple of the sun).
The tour bus will drive along the Circunvalacion Road up to four archealogical sites, the famous fortress of Sacsahuaman, then to Q'enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay . The tour includes a Spanish and English speaking guide, a tourist ticket valid for the entrance to various museums and ruins as well.

Day 2 Sacred Valley of the Incas

Breakfast 7am-830am .At 9 am an excursion to Sacred Valley of the Incas .Services included: Bus service to the market of Pisaq , Calca , Urubamba , Ruins of Ollantaytambo , and the Chinchero's market. English and Spanish speaking guide provided. Buffet Lunch in a typical restaurant in the town of Urubamba. Return to Cusco at 6,30 PM lodging at your hotel.

Day 3 River Rafting

Breakfast. 6am -9am We pick you up at your hotel , after one and a half hours drive we arrive to the put -in at the shores of the Upper Urubamba River, at "CASA CUSI" our private campground. Our professional Rafting Guides will give you a safety talk and provide you with all the proper equipment for Rafting. We would be floating for approximately two and a half hours, running class II and III , introductory type rapids. Afterwards , we arrive to the take-out where our private bus will be waiting for us to take us back to CASA CUSI, where a hot Sauna will be waiting and a full course lunch will be provided. Our return to Cusco should be around 5 in the afternoon. Included (Transportation from Cusco to the put-in at the River, All the rafting quipment, such as Helmet , Life jacket, paddle, self bailing Raft , Spray Jacket, wet Suit, Professional English speaking Rafting guide, Delicious lunch, Transportation back from the River)Lodging at Hotel.(Breakfast,Lunch)

Days 4-5-6-7 : "Inca Trail"

Included : Bus service to km 82 , entrance tickets to the Inca trail, tour guide english speaking during all the trekking, tents ,porters, breakfasts lunches and dinners (as explained below) , complete Machupicchu 's ruins tour , train ticket back to Cusco , look at the Inca Trail sectional view
Breakfast 6am-7am . We start our trek escorted by native "quechua" porters going through seem-arid terrain along the Urubamba river with magnificent views of snow capped mount Veronica , later going through Llactapata ,an ancient Inca citadel that protected the entry to the two valleys (Lunch,Dinner)

Day 5:

Today the first part of the trek takes us to the Inca Hamlet of Huayabamba,later going through Warmiwañuska pass (4200 Mt), known as "dead woman's pass". (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 6:
Walking on a remarkably preserved Inca Trail passing ancient archaeological sites covered by dense jungle overgrowth , later visiting the Phuyupatamarca (city above clouds)with a spectacular view of snow covered Andean ranges. Then Wyñnaywayna , probably the most spectacular archaeological site during the trek. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 7:
After an early breakfast we will Pass through the Intipuncu (gates of the sun). Then we arrive to Machupicchu the lost city of the Incas , Return to Cusco at 7 PM , lodging at your Hotel. (Breakfast)
Day 8 Transfer out
Breakfast , transfer to the airport and end of our services (B)

Sleeping bag

NOTE:

During the trail the passenger will carry his sleeping bag, mattress and all other personal belongings. One extra porter to carry personal belongings costs US$ 55.00. This porter can carry the belongings of two persons as long as the weight per person does not exceed 8 kg or 16 pounds.

    Breakfast varies from day to day and can include:

  • pancakes or bread (with butter/jam) - eggs (fried, omelet) or Fruit
    Lunches (the last day lunch is not included)

Inca trail to Machupicchu as detailed above. Bookings for Tourist class accommodations based on double occupancy (twin beds or matrimonial king-size bed accommodation). All scheduled land transportations, transfers, scheduled excursions with an English speaking guide, entrance fees and meals as specified in the itinerary are included.

NOT INCLUDED:

International or domestic airfares, airport departure taxes or visa fees, excess baggage charges, additional nights during the trip due to flight cancellations, alcoholic beverages or bottled water, snacks, insurance of any kind, laundry, phone calls, radio calls or messages, reconfirmation of flights and items of personal nature.
